CONVERSION/ALTERNATE MEDIA SERVICES TIMELINE

FALL 2008
UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

• July 28, 2008 - (STUDENT) Meet with academic advisor to establish Fall 2008 courses and determine the instructors for those courses. Once instructors have been determined you are to provide the instructors Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms and return the signed forms to DSC by September 8, 2008. (8 weeks prior to Fall Quarter)
• August 25, 2008 - (DSC) Email reminder to students utilizing CAM services of finalized course readings and syllabi (as indicated on Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms) by September 8, 2008. (4 weeks prior to Fall Quarter)
• September 8, 2008 - (STUDENT) Provides DSC with completed Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms to DSC to begin conversion process. (2 weeks prior to Fall Quarter)

GRADUATE STUDENTS

• June 30, 2008 - (STUDENT) Meet with academic advisor to establish your Fall 2008 courses and determine the instructors for those courses. Once instructors have been determined you are to provide the instructors Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms and return the signed forms to DSC by August 25, 2008. (12 weeks prior to Fall Quarter)
• August 11, 2008 - (DSC) Email reminder to students utilizing CAM services of finalized course readings and syllabi (as indicated on Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms) by August 25, 2008. (6 weeks prior to Fall Quarter)
• August 25, 2008 - (STUDENT) Provides DSC with completed Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms to DSC to begin conversion process. (4 weeks prior to Fall Quarter)

WINTER 2009
UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

• November 10, 2008 - (STUDENT) Meet with academic advisor to establish Winter 2009 courses and determine the instructors for those courses. Once instructors have been determined you are to provide the instructors Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms and return the signed forms to DSC by December 15, 2008. (8 weeks prior to Winter Quarter)
• December 8, 2008 - (DSC) Email reminder to students utilizing CAM services of finalized course readings and syllabi (as indicated on Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms) by December 15, 2008. (4 weeks prior to Winter Quarter)
• December 15, 2008 - (STUDENT) Provides DSC with completed Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms to DSC to begin conversion process. (3 weeks prior to Winter Quarter)

GRADUATE STUDENTS

• October 13, 2008 - (STUDENT) Meet with academic advisor to establish your Winter 2009 courses and determine the instructors for those courses. Once instructors have been determined you are to provide the instructors Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms and return the signed forms to DSC by December 8, 2008. (12 weeks prior to Winter Quarter)
• November 24, 2008 - (DSC) Email reminder to students utilizing CAM services of finalized course readings and syllabi (as indicated on Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms) by December 8, 2008. (6 weeks prior to Winter Quarter)
• December 8, 2008 - (STUDENT) Provides DSC with completed Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms to DSC to begin conversion process. (4 weeks prior to Winter Quarter)

SPRING 2009
UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

• February 2, 2009 - (STUDENT) Meets with academic advisor to establish Spring 2009 courses and determine the instructors for those courses. Once instructors have been determined you are to provide the instructors Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms and return the signed forms to DSC by March 16, 2009. (8 weeks prior to Spring Quarter)
• March 2, 2009 - (DSC) Email reminder to students utilizing CAM services of finalized course readings and syllabi (as indicated on Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms) by March 16, 2009. (4 weeks prior to Spring Quarter)
• March 16, 2009 - (STUDENT) Provides DSC with completed Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms to DSC to begin conversion process. (2 weeks prior to Spring Quarter)

GRADUATE STUDENTS

• January 5, 2009 - (STUDENT) Meets with academic advisor to establish your Spring 2009 courses and determine the instructors for those courses. Once instructors have been determined you are to provide the instructors Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms and return the signed forms to DSC by March 2, 2009. (12 weeks prior to Spring Quarter)
• February 16, 2009 - (DSC) Email reminder to students utilizing CAM services of finalized course readings and syllabi (as indicated on Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms) by March 2, 2009. (6 weeks prior to Spring Quarter)
• March 2, 2009 - (STUDENT) Provides DSC with completed Conversion/Alternate Media (CAM) Request Forms to DSC to begin conversion process. (4 weeks prior to Spring Quarter)

 

PLEASE NOTE:

If the above CAM Services Timeline dates are not adhered to, then approximate CAM production process requires at least (3) three working days and up to (10) ten working days to be completed UPON SUBMISSION OF ALL MATERIALS indicated in the CAM SERVICES GUIDELINES. DSC will make every reasonable effort to provide CAM requests in this time period.
